- Located on the ground floor of a skilled nursing facility, this program presented several problems. The spaces to be converted for dialysis were decentralized.
- A further complication was that there did not appear to be sufficient space for a central water treatment equipment room. By replanning staff locker rooms, our designers carved out space for water treatment equipment on a level directly below the treatment suite.
- Through the reuse of existing utility/support spaces, the opening up of the waiting area to the corridor and the consistency of color/finish, we were successfully able to pull the unit together.
