Cliffside Dialysis

College Point, New York

• The architects were given a relatively small area to work with. By replanning abutting staff locker and storage areas and taking functional advantage of existing support spaces, the space available for patients was maximized.
• The design takes advantage of water views wherever possible and uses alternating complimentary colors to help define each patient’s personal space.
• A central water treatment plant was utilized. This equipment room was located on a level directly below the treatment suite to maximize patient space on the treatment level.
